Amazon.com What's a panda to do when his dreams of kung-fu awesomeness awake to the cold reality of noodle-making? Clumsy, overweight Po (Jack Black) dreams of becoming a kung fu master like China's revered "furious five," but instead seems destined to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather in the restaurant business. When great leader Oogway has a vision that the imprisoned kung fu warrior Tai Lung (Ian McShane) will soon escape, he declares it time to choose China's dragon warrior--one kung fu master deemed worthy of possessing the dragon's scroll and its secret to limitless power. Po and all the townspeople rush to the Jade Palace atop the highest mountain to witness the contest between Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Monkey (Jackie Chan), Mantis (Seth Rogan), Crane (David Cross) and Viper (Lucy Liu), but Po is locked outside the palace. After a miracle of sorts, Po lands inside the palace gates, where he is chosen as the dragon warrior and placed under the tutelage of the decidedly non-plussed master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman). An unconventional student to say the least, hilarity reigns as Shifu tries desperately to make Po into some semblance of a kung fu warrior. Can Po possibly fulfill his destiny as dragon warrior, or was Oogway's final decision a critical mistake? A film rich with hilarious moments, superior animation, and an important message about believing in oneself and the power that comes from within, Kung Fu Panda is great entertainment that will have the whole family laughing and begging for more. (Ages 3 and older) --Tami Horiuchi

Kung Fu Panda January 9, 2009 Elizabeth M. Ortiz (San Antonio, TX) Great movie, great seller, product arrived nearly ontime, but with the holidays that was to be expected. Had to contact seller, rec'd fast reply. Very satisfied w/both product and seller.
Good family entertainment January 9, 2009 Desert Mom (Arizona) Enjoyable at least for families with children over 8. There's a lot of cartoon violence (of course, it is Kung Fu, so you need to expect fighting), but the story is basically a good one. We got the double pack and frankly, I'm not sure the short feature was worth the extra charge, but my daughter enjoyed it.
The best animated film Dreamworks has yet done January 9, 2009 Will Allen III (Raleigh, NC United States) This is a clever, funny, and well-done movie for kids and adults, several notches above earlier Dreamworks Animation features. Highly recommended.
Quickly a favorite January 8, 2009 S. Roper (Logan, Utah United States) I wasn't sure how excited I was to see this movie, but it has quickly become one of my favorites. The animation is top notch, and the cast is star studded, though I have to admit I had to watch the special features to put faces with voices. It seemed to me that this movie would be the typical "unlikely hero that changes into one" story, but the way that "Po" is written adds spice to this genre of character. It was nice to see a chubby hero for a change. You will laugh and be amazed at the kung fu moves and the speed of the story. A definite must see.
Kung Fu Panda Movie January 8, 2009 G. Bogiatzidis My husband and I took my nieces to see this movie in the theater and loved it. My nephew missed the theater outting, but couldn't wait to watch it after Santa brought him the DVD. A very entertaining and educational movie...but I'm a Jack Black Fan, which doesn't hurt. Enjoy!
